Pat Stonehouse is a leading authority, widely recognized speaker and frequently quoted expert in the areas of business etiquette and executive presence.  As founder and President of Advancing With Style she was one of the first consultants in North America to recognize the lack of soft skills in corporate America and focus on developing training programs that develop the personal attributes that enhance a person's job performance and ultimately the bottom line of a corporation.

Her career began when she was trained as an image consultant by Carole Jackson, the author of the number one best seller Color Me Beautiful.  She served as their Regional Coordinator, and was one of only seven worldwide to achieve the Platinum Award for Achievement.  She went on to start her own company Image International and to develop a national training program for consultants.

In 1994 she wanted a change and sold her business to accept a position as Manager of Sales and Development in a Fortune 100 company.  Pat brings with her direct corporate experience and grasps the challenges and issues facing corporations and their employees.  She understands the importance of soft skills, executive presence and having employees that exemplify the corporate brand.  With the knowledge gained she created Advancing With Style, to fill the void in corporate training.

During her career she has worked with over 600 companies and delivered more than 1500 seminars worldwide.  Her client list includes many notable organizations, including American Express, Stryker, Citigroup, Liebherr, Merrill Lynch, Black & McDonald, The Department of National Defense, The Royal Canadian Mint, Xerox and IBM.  She has worked both here and abroad, with numerous political figures, diplomats, Olympians, and even royalty.

 Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba.  She is a graduate of the Protocol School of Washington, the leader in protocol and etiquette training.  She is trained in 360 Feedback and certified as a Reach personal branding strategist.  
 
She spends her time between Toronto, Canada and Palm Beach, Florida.  In the summer she resides in the Thousand Islands offering executive training programs in the Kingston area.
